The head of the Antiquities Authority met with the Spanish ambassador to Libya to explore ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of archaeological studies.
During the meeting, held at the authority headquarters on Sunday, both sides discussed joint prospects for the preservation and restoration of historic buildings, as well as modern applications for archiving.
The discussions also covered efforts to combat the illegal trade in cultural property, the organization of joint workshops, and the exchange of expert visits between the two countries.
