Libya's Interior Ministry participated, on Wednesday, in the 10th Arab Conference of Tourist Security Officials, held in the Tunisian capital.

The ministry disclosed in a statement that the conference will discuss recommendations of the previous meeting and the experiences of the member states of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in this field.

The participants will also review investment in social networks to enhance tourism security, besides the outcomes of the committee of experts to prepare an application on smartphones for tourism security services and discuss its financing mechanism.

It is noteworthy that the Interior Ministry's committee concerned with preparing an application for tourism security services held a meeting Tuesday to discuss the application submitted by the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences under the name "Malath."
