The Libyan Customs Authority has held discussions with its Tunisian counterpart to facilitate the movement of goods and individuals between the two countries.

This came during a visit by the head of Tunisian Customs to Tripoli to hold a meeting of the Joint Technical Customs Committee, as part of a series of ongoing meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The meeting addressed several key issues, including working to overcome obstacles faced by citizens and residents on both sides of the crossing borders.

The two sides also discussed ways to reach agreements and understandings that would support and enhance economic and customs ties, serving the interests of the two peoples, according to a statement by the Libyan Customs Authority.
