Libya and Turkey have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening strategic cooperation across a range of sectors, during high-level talks in Tripoli.
Libya’s Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, met with Turkish Ambassador Guven Begec to discuss political developments in the region and bilateral relations.
According to a statement following the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation in the face of current regional challenges. The talks also explored avenues for collaboration in sectors of mutual interest.
Turkey remains a key political and economic partner for Libya, and officials from both nations underscored the need to build on existing ties and bolster long-term strategic cooperation.
