Libya has signed a memorandum of understanding with the US Chamber of Commerce in a bid to strengthen economic ties between the two nations.
The agreement, signed in New York, was overseen by Libya’s Presidential Council head, Mohamed Menfi, and attended by representatives from leading American companies.
The agreement aims to foster sustainable economic development in Libya, in line with the legal frameworks of both countries.
Speaking at the ceremony, Menfi highlighted Libya’s potential as an emerging market and emphasized the need to address any challenges that may arise, while welcoming further American business engagement in the country.
