The Director of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Haider Al-Sayeh, has discussed cooperation with a World Health Organization (WHO) official in the field of combating infectious diseases and limiting their spread, in a way that contributes to building a more efficient and responsive healthcare system.
The discussion took place during a meeting between Al-Sayeh and the head of the WHO Infectious Diseases Department, along with representatives of the WHO office in Libya.
According to the NCDC Facebook page, the meeting addressed the health situation both locally and regionally, and explored mechanisms to confront increasing health challenges.
