Libyan Airlines in Benghazi announced on Sunday that it had suspended all its flights from Benina International Airport due to aircraft maintenance requirement.

The airline said on Facebook that the only operating aircraft of the company's eastern branch is undergoing maintenance and repair.

It added that the Airlines' management in Tripoli has refused their request to provide a temporary aircraft pending the return of the damaged plane to service, noting that more than four of the company's aircraft are operating from Tripoli, while only one plane was allocated to Benghazi Airport.
