Libya's Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, reviewed with his Qatari counterpart, Ali Al-Marri aspects of cooperation between the two ministries.

The meeting held in Doha discussed a potential memorandum of understanding between the two ministries to benefit from Qatar’s experience in organizing expatriate workers and labour housing.

According to the Libyan side, Minister Al-Abed followed up on the conditions of Libyan workers in Qatar, including doctors and engineers, as well as procedures to preserve their privileges and employment rights.

In light of the aggression against Gaza, the two sides took the opportunity to confirm their countries' full support for the rights of Palestinian workers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
