The head of the General Staff of the Libyan Army Mohammed Sharif held Khalifa Haftar fully responsible for the military escalation and the destabilization and insecurity entailed.
"Our war against Haftar is not between east and west, but against a dictator seeking to seize power by force in Libya," Sharif said.
He also emphasized that the military establishment is operating according to an organized mechanism led by the main operations room and that all troops in the battlefronts are working under their command.
Sharif stressed that they will abide by the international humanitarian norms in their war against Haftar in all circumstances.
