The Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al-Haddad, met Tuesday with the United Kingdom's military attache accredited to Libya, Colonel Mark Yaven, to discuss cooperation mechanisms between the two countries in various fields.

The meeting which took place at the Naval Base in Tripoli dealt with means for providing support to the Libyan army, especially with regard to mine clearance operations, and assisting in the DNA process to identify victims of the mass graves committed by Haftar's militias during their aggression against the region.

The Defence Ministry explained in a statement that the meeting comes as part of its continuous efforts to improve the performance of the Libyan army and raise the efficiency of its personnel.
