The Libyan Association for Prisoners of Conscience has reiterated its categorical rejection of the judgment ruled by the Tripoli Court of Appeal, concerning the dropping of charges against the defendants in the case known as the "Abu Salim Massacre" due to limitation.

In a statement Monday, the association said that the ruling was reckless disregard for the suffering of the martyrs' families, stressing that it was a blow to the principles for which the 17th February Revolution existed.

It called on the families of martyrs of Abu Salim Massacre to protest against the ruling and resort to legal means, by filing an appeal before the Supreme Court.
