The Libyan authorities have returned 20 illegal immigrants of Mali nationalities to their country through the UN voluntary return program.

The Illegal Migration Agency said the migrants who were housing an immigration centre in Tripoli returned to their country in cooperation with the Malian Embassy in Tripoli and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The agency expressed its gratitude to the security services at Mitiga International Airport for their efforts to overcome difficulties and facilitate procedures for the return of the migrants to their homeland.
