The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, discussed with the Chairman and members of the Planning, Finance and Public Budget Committee in the House of Representatives, the obstacles facing public spending for 2022 and the expectations of public spending for 2023.

The media office of the Central Bank of Libya said that they discussed during the meeting on Thursday possible policies to revive the Libyan economy, move it forward, and support the efforts of the Central Bank in terms of disclosure and transparency.

Earlier, the Central Bank of Libya announced that it was moving toward applying governance principles within the framework of effective local and international accounting standards to banks in Libya and improving their banking performance to match international standards for banking services.
