Libya’s Chief of the General Staff, Mohamed Al-Haddad, met with France’s Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, to discuss military cooperation and efforts to unify Libya’s armed forces.
The meeting, held last Wednesday, was attended by the Chief of Naval Staff and the Director of the Commander-in-Chief’s Office.
In a statement, the General Staff said Ambassador Mihraje reiterated France’s support for Al-Haddad’s efforts to strengthen and unify Libya’s military institutions, and stressed France’s commitment to promoting stability in the country.
