Reliable sources in the city of Benghazi confirmed that a citizen named Kinan Mustafa Kinan, was arrested by Haftar’s militia despite having received assurances from them prior to returning home in Benghazi.
He was arrested on December 28, following his return from living in asylum in Germany for almost nine years.
Kinan acquired German citizenship during his stay there.
He is the son of the well-known late Colonel Mustafa Kinan, a member of the alleged revolutionary committee of the Gaddafi regime.
