The Libyan Coast Guard has rescued a boat carrying 49 migrants of varying nationalities, including 13 women, two infants and the deceased bodies of two men.

The boast was found approximately 30 miles off Zawiya. The migrants were transported to the designated disembarkation point in the port of Tripoli.

All humanitarian and medical assistance was subsequently provided to the migrants in cooperation with the Ambulance Service and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
