Abdullah Senussi

Tripoli Court of Appeal postponed, Monday, pronouncement of verdict against Abdullah Senussi, head of Intelligence Service during the Gaddafi regime, to June 5th .

The deferral was due to the defendant’s failure to appear before the court for the second time, he also failed to appear during the court session last Monday.

Senussi faces several charges, including crimes against humanity and attempting to suppress the revolution that broke out against Gaddafi on February 17, 2011.

Senussi, was the second man in the Gaddafi regime, and has been held in a prison in Tripoli since 2012, after Mauritania handed him over to Libya, after he fled to that country.
