The Libyan Embassy in Madrid held a celebration, on Tuesday, to mark the 250th anniversary of Libyan-Spanish relations, and to honor those who contributed to enriching relations between the two countries.
The celebration coincided with the first anniversary of the events in Derna, honoring the Spanish helpers during the event and those who helped to control Bint Bayyah fire.
An exhibition of drawings by Libyan painter Abdul Razzaq Al-Rayani was organized, marking 240 years since the signing of the first peace agreement between the Tripoli Governorate and the Kingdom of Spain.
