The Libyan Embassy in Ukraine announced on Sunday the suspension of work in the consular section until the new temporary location of the embassy is determined.

In a post on its official Facebook account, the embassy attributed the suspension of consular work to "the difficult security and life conditions the region is going through."

The embassy stated that it would provide Libyans residing in Ukraine with the temporary address, phone numbers, and a possible communication mechanism to provide the necessary services.

The security situation in Ukraine witnessed significant developments, following new Russian missile strikes that damaged electricity and water networks across the country, according to international news agencies.
