US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken agreed with Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela on the need for the international community to be proactive in supporting a Libyan-led political settlement in Libya.
The two parties discussed the situation in the Middle East, Ukraine and Libya, during a meeting in Malta on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) meeting, which was held on Thursday and Friday, according to the MaltaToday website.
The Maltese Prime Minister stressed the need for dialogue and cooperation in addressing conflicts, noting the importance of achieving stability in Libya.
