Libyan Finance Ministry: State expenditure exceeded 127 billion dollars in 2022
The Ministry of Finance of the Government of National Unity (GNU) said that the state’s revenues for the past year amounted to more than 134.4 billion dinars, and the total expenditures for the same year exceeded 127 billion and 800 million dinars.
In its disclosure and transparency report, the Ministry of Finance clarified that the temporary financial arrangements allocated to the National Oil Corporation (NOC) amounted to more than 34 billion and 200 million dinars.
The Ministry also said that spending on salaries exceeded 47 billion and 100 million dinars, while steering expenses amounted to more than 8 billion and 900 million dinars.
It indicated that the subsidies' section amounted to more than 20 billion dinars, while the expenses of the projects and support programs amounted to more than 17.4 billion dinars.
