The Italian Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, revealed an upcoming visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Najlaa Al-Manqoush, to Rome in early February to take important new steps in the field of joint cooperation between the two countries.
Italy is ready to provide support and achieve development in Libya, and it is also working to strengthen cooperation in many sectors and files, including combating illegal immigration, investment and exploration in the field of oil and gas, Tajani said to Libya Al-Ahrar TV.
He also expressed his country's desire to involve the European Union in this process more to confront the illegal movement of migrants across the Mediterranean.
