The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Taher Al-Baour, has arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to take part in the 163rd session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level.
According to a statement on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Facebook page, Al-Baour conducted an inspection tour of the Libyan mission to the Arab League and the Libyan Embassy in Cairo.
During the visit, he stressed the importance of adhering to diplomatic standards and providing the best services to the Libyan community.
The ministry noted that this participation reaffirms Libya’s commitment to its responsibilities and its role in supporting the path of joint Arab action, as well as discussing the latest political and security developments in the region in a way that enhances its stability and unity.
