Libyan national football team won 3-1 against Ethiopia at African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2023 in Algeria on Saturday but still left the tournament with three points from three matches in the groups round.
Ethiopia scored first from the spot at the minute 39, but after five minutes, Libya leveled the score and then scored the second and third goals in the second half.
The Libyan team lost its chances to qualify to the next round of CHAN 2023 by losing the first two ges to hosts Algeria and then Mozambique.
Algeria, 9 points, and Mozambique, 4 points, qualified for the quarterfinals of CHAN 2023. Libya came third with 3 points and Ethiopia fourth with 1 point.
