The Minister of Transport, Mohamed Salem Al-Shahoubi discussed with the French ambassador to Libya, Beatrice le Fraper du Hellen, ways of boosting French-Libyan cooperation in the field of transportation and in air, water, and land infrastructure.
According to the Ministry of Transport, Al-Shahoubi emphasized that the focus has been on improving the services provided to citizens and the reinitiating of contracts previously agreed upon to implement the Tripoli, Misrata, and Benina International airports reconstruction.
He also clarified that the work currently underway is focusing on airports in the southern region and the completion of roads, bridges, and ports.
For her part, the French ambassador emphasized her country’s interest in the Libyan issue and its willingness to share its expertise with Libya.
