The Head of the National Center for Disease Control, Hayder Al-Sayeh, urged for allowing students to return to school without coronavirus testing, saying laboratories had been asked not to conduct PCR tests without the presence of remarkable symptoms.

Al-Sayeh told school teachers and managers not to allow students who show signs of cold like cough and other common symptoms to be present in classes, urging for keeping the students who were with positive coronavirus cases at home, and saying they could return to school without a PCR test when the quarantine period is done.

He also said that there's no need for random testing among students as they are useless, indicating that fast tests have been developed lately and should be used in diagnosing processes as they are very easy to use and accurate.
