A senior health official at the Libyan Embassy in Ukraine has been arrested upon the orders of the Public Prosecutor on charges of improper exercise of public service, fraud, and damage to public funds.

The Public Prosecutor indicted the health official on charges that include spending 800,000 euros during the Corona pandemic for purposes other than the ones allocated for.

The accused also faces charges of using documents with forged seals in the name of several hospitals to pass a transaction regarding providing medical services.
