A delegation of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) arrived in the Austrian capital, Vienna to participate in the work of the 5th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament and the 1st Global Parliamentary Summit on Countering Terrorism.
According to HoR Spokesman, Abdullah Blihaq, the delegation is headed by the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Fouzi Al-Nuiri, accompanied by the Second Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Houma, and HoR member, Rabia Bouras.
The conference is set to discuss sustainable development, environmental protection, and the impact of climate change on the economy, in addition to the challenges and consequences of COVID-19, countering disinformation, gender equality, and non-discrimination against women and girls.
