The Libyan Interior Minister, Khalid Mazen, said the Ministry personnel are ready to help secure the upcoming general elections in the country.
These remarks came as Mazen talked to the second round of elections security training at the Tripoli General Directorate of Security Operations in the presence of several officers and High National Elections Commission representatives.
The Interior Minister said the Ministry is a major partner in the success of the electoral process in cooperation with the High National Elections Commission, adding that it had started training for police and security personnel to increase their awareness of the elections process. He also called for support for the Ministry to continue these training courses.
