The Libyan Iron and Steel Company has confirmed the unprecedented new achieved records in the company’s history of production, exceeding its design capacity.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company, Mohammed Al-Faqih, stated in a video that the production of the three direct reduction plants reached the barrier of 1.750 million tons by about 18,000 tons, noting that the third reduction unit achieved 706,000, exceeding its design capacity of 650,000 tons.

On the other hand, the Italian ship Sable Star left the company’s port after shipping 26,300 tons of hot-molded iron, heading to the Italian port of Marghera.
