The Libyan Iron and Steel Company announced a record monthly production rate this year compared to last October.
The company indicated that its monthly production of steel rods amounted to 37,898 tons for the first and second lines.
The Director of the Operations Department of the Rods and Skewers Factory, Ramadan Baqiqa, says this figure is unique in light of the circumstances related to the lack of energy supplies, both electricity, and natural gas.
