Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ashraf Al-Tayeb, has discussed with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Japanese Embassy in Libya, Masaaki Amadera, ways of joint cooperation within the framework of the Japanese Cooperation Agency's programs for the year 2025.

In their meeting, both sides reviewed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and future development projects, thus contributing to supporting development and stability efforts in Libya, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Last week, the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Hawaij, agreed with the Japanese Ambassador to Libya to prepare a memorandum of understanding to protect the rights of investors in the two countries, and to establish a Libyan-Japanese economic forum in Tripoli during the next year with the participation of representatives of the private sector.

News
