The Libyan-Norwegian Fertilizer Company (Lifeco) announced on Wednesday, the state of force majeure in all its factories, noting that production will be suspended as from February 9, due to the continued blockade of oil operations from the Oil Crescent Region.

Lifeco resumed operations in mid-2019, after adjusting their status with the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and its foreign partner, which involved debts worth 300 million dinars to Sirte Oil Company and the NOC.
