The Libyan Open Water Swimming Championships wrapped up on Saturday in Misrata under the supervision of the Libyan Swimming Federation.

The closing day of the tournament organized by the Misrata Sub-Federation and hosted by Tobakts Club was marked with the participation of sports senior officials, including the President of the Libyan Olympic Committee Jamal Al-Zarrouk, the heads of the Kun fu sub-federations, fencing, triathlon, archery, rowing, sailing, bodybuilding, and mini-football.

The tournament was an opportunity to identify promising talents in a bid to build a base for a team capable of representing Libya in international competitions.

Around 70 athletes showcased their skills, representing clubs from Tripoli, Benghazi, Misrata, Derna, Tobruk, Zliten, and AZawiya.
