The Derna branch of the Libyan Red Crescent received a shipment of medicines for dialysis by the medical supply stores in Shahhat town.

The Libyan Red Crescent stated in a post on their official Facebook page on Friday that the shipment included dialysis equipment and supplies.

Derna is suffering from difficult living conditions and shortages of food and medicine as a result of the tightening of the siege by Dignity Operation forces closing access points to and from the city since early August.

This comes as part of the siege imposed on the city for more than two years, in addition to the military escalation on its borders in an attempt by Dignity Operation forces to invade and control the city.
