The Legal Department of the General Directorate of Security Operations under the Ministry of Interior announced the seizure of large quantities of smuggled fuel found in passenger vehicles at the Ras Ajdir border crossing.
In addition to fuel, the forces also confiscated food items, other subsidized goods, electrical appliances, and money exceeding the permitted limit.
It may be worth noting that this action aligns with the Ministry of Interior's decision to prohibit travellers from transporting fuel when travelling from Libya to Tunisia, allowing only the fuel tank of the private vehicle to be filled. We urge all travellers to adhere to these regulations to avoid any legal consequences.
