The Libyan Government of National Unity's Foreign Ministry has condemned the suicide explosion that took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday causing a number of injuries. It also expressed solidarity with the Saudi Kingdom and the whole region against terrorism.
Saudi authorities said a wanted man linked to an attack on a mosque in 2015 by ISIS died after blowing himself up following the encirclement of Saudi security forces of his location in Jeddah.
The Libyan Foreign Ministry stresses its support for the Kingdom's efforts to confront security threats, and all the measures it takes to consolidate its security and the safety of its people, praising what it described as the efficiency of the security forces and the authorities' efforts that aim at blocking any attempt posing a threat to the stability of Saudi Arabia.
