The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity has denied receiving any official requests for the evacuation of diplomatic missions operating in Tripoli.

In a statement issued Thursday, the ministry described circulating reports on the matter as inaccurate.

This clarification follows claims shared on Libyan social media alleging that several diplomatic missions had begun evacuating their premises in the capital, amid heightened security tensions and recent armed clashes.

The ministry stressed that diplomatic missions continue to operate normally in Tripoli, explaining that current movements are focused solely on coordinating the safe departure of staff from international companies participating in the Libya Build Expo.
