The Minister-designate of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, has reiterated the importance of the return of American companies specialized in the health sector to work in Libya, adding in a meeting on Friday with the Chairman of the African-American Chamber of Commerce, and a number of representatives of major pharmaceutical and medical supplies manufacturers, in the presence of the US envoy to Libya, ambassador Richard Norland.

Abu Janah referred to the plans of the Government of National Unity and the importance of establishing development companies within the "plan for the return of life" announced by the Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Health said that during the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening cooperation with the American companies specialized in manufacturing medical supplies.
