The jumbo-sized cargo jet "Antonov 100-124" belonging to the Libyan Air Cargo Company, which stationed in Ukraine for maintenance has raised fears in Libya about the possibility of losing it, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper said.
According to the newspaper, the Libyan Chargé d’Affaires to Ukraine, Adel Issa, said that he had contacted the “Antonov” company management, who assured him that the plane is in good condition and was not affected by the military operations in Ukraine.
The “Antonov 100-124" is the second largest cargo plane in the world, bought by Libya about 20 years ago and annexed to the Libyan Air Cargo Company.
