The Health Minister, Ali Al-Zanati has confirmed that the epidemiological situation in the country is reassuring and makes Libya in a safe zone, pointing out that the cases of infection since the emergence of the epidemic in March 2019 amounted to 202,000 cases, while the death cases reached 3,400 deaths.
He pointed out during a joint press conference with the official spokesman of the Government of National Unity that the statistics on the presence of cases in the isolation and care centers are very few, or even non-existent in some isolation centers, indicating that all operating materials are available in the isolation center in all regions and cities of Libya.
The Minister called on the people to take precautions, follow precautionary measures, wear masks, and apply the rules of social distancing around the occasion of the Eid Al-Adha, in order to preserve their lives and the lives of others.
