National Oil Corporation (NOC) Chairman Farhat Bengdara met with British Ambassador Martin Longden to explore efforts towards achieving full independence for Libya’s oil sector.
The meeting, held on Monday, emphasized the importance of strengthening transparency and governance standards, according to a statement from the NOC.
The discussion also focused on strategies for improving oil production and refining operational efficiency in Libya’s oil fields. Both sides examined opportunities for collaboration in the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors between the two nations.
