The member of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF), Abdulmutallab Thabet, has presented his credentials to the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, to officially become Libya's permanent representative to the League.

During a meeting held at the League's HQ in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, the two sides discussed the latest developments in Libya and the Arab League's support mechanism for the current situation.
