The Ministry of Local Government and UNICEF signed on Sunday, the UNICEF action plan to support young people and enhance their engagement in peace, social cohesion.
The Minister of Local Government, Dr. Milad Taher said that such programs will benefit municipalities, as it will contribute to fostering social peace within the cities, according to the ministry's Information Office.
UNICEF was represented in the signing ceremony by the Special Representative of the Organization in Libya, Abdul Rahman Ghanour.
