Looters steal 3600 meters of power lines in Jafara

The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) has said that around 3600 meters of high-pressure power lines were stolen from Jafara area.
The company explained in a statement that the incident left many homes in Sa’idiyya area without electricity.
It urged all competent authorities in the Municipality of Jafara to protect the components of the electrical network.
GECOL warned that frequent electrical wire thefts would threaten power supplies and the entire electric network.
