The Traffic Affairs Department of the Tripoli Security Directorate announced the closure of a number of vital roads starting Sunday, as part of the start of development work on Martyrs Square.
The closure includes the road linking Ghazala roundabout and Martyrs Square, in addition to the road leading from Omar Al-Mukhtar Street to the Martyrs Square.
The Security Directorate called on drivers to use alternative routes to facilitate traffic, as those heading to Martyrs Square can use 24th December Street, Al-Wadi Street, and Al-Baladiya Street, while those heading to Omar Al-Mukhtar Street are advised to take New Al-Bayda Street.
