The Mayor of the Municipality of Central Tripoli, Ibrahim Al-Khalaifi, has participated in the meeting of Mayors for Peace and Cooperation in the Middle East and North Africa, which was held in Istanbul.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between cities in the Middle East and North Africa region, reviewing issues related to sustainable development, peace and regional cooperation, according to the Municipality.
The meeting was attended by a number of mayors of the municipalities of other countries, including the municipalities of Rabat, Baghdad, Amman, Casablanca, and Ramallah, which provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences, build partnerships, and exchange experiences in a strategic manner.
