Mayor of Qatroun Ali Saidi said that Qatroun is not in need for troops from the east or west, but all it needs is support for the security services in the city.

Saidi explained in a press statement, Saturday that the southern community rejects any military assistance that pursues personal political goals - in reference to the forces of Hafter-, pointing out that the security situation in the city is stable, and that they are waiting for support from the Ministry of Interior.

"We want real security with no politic ends," Saidi said, warning that transferring political conflicts to the south will cause division and discord among the southern society, who have more than enough to deal with.
