The mayors of a number of municipalities have confirmed their support for the decision of the High Council of State (HCS) regarding the rejection of the general budget for the year 2024, which was approved by the House of Representatives in its session on July 9-10.
This came during a meeting with the HCS head, Mohamed Takala, on Wednesday, according to a statement by the HCS media office.
On July 10, the House of Representatives voted unanimously to approve the state budget for the year 2024, worth 179 billion dinars.
