The Mellitah Oil and Gas Company confirmed in a statement on Friday after the developments in Sabratha that the complex of the oil and gas company needs to be distant from all regional and political disputes.
The company indicated the importance of their service to ensure the continuity of electricity throughout the country.
The company`s statement, which was released after the latest clashes in Sabratha, said that the complex needs a united effort at this time by the good people of Libya to maintain its operation and stand in the face of any saboteurs who seek to fuel the crisis and thwart all efforts that are in the interest of the Libyan citizen.
